Adine Faber-Versluis is frequently featured in national newspapers and magazines, has contributed to various TV programs and documentaries, and won the 2023 Vrouw in de Media Award Friesland.
Growing Up
Adine grew up in an entrepreneurial family and has always had a passion for money, entrepreneurship, and the freedom both can create—or the prison they can become. In 2007, right after earning her Master's degree in American Studies from the University of Groningen, she started her own business. During the credit crisis, she saw 80% of her communication agency’s revenue disappear in a short period of time, forcing her to do everything possible to keep her head (and house) above water. Over the course of three years, she learned everything there was to know about money and paid off a staggering €70,000 of her mortgage. She also discovered how opaque the world of finance can be in the Netherlands and how crucial it is to be financially conscious and empowered to make your own choices.
Inspiration
This experience led her to change course and show people—especially women—that managing money doesn't have to be complicated, and that the presence or absence of money often has little to do with your abilities and much more to do with what you’ve learned about money. And, importantly, that you can change that. She does this in a clear, inspiring, and above all, very practical way. Unlike anyone else, but all the more effective because of it.
Her Life
Adine lives in northern Friesland with her husband, daughter, and cat. She loves reading, Human Design, personal development, and the United States. In 2023, her Money Mindset card set was released by Altamira Publishers. In 2025, her first book Money Boss was published. It helps you manage money smarter within a month and provides a concrete roadmap for a financially free future.
