In 2002, Christian founded his own agency (Artificial Industry), where he facilitated innovative start-ups for major organizations such as Randstad, Essent, Endemol, Corio, EyeWorks, Pension Fund ABP, Oracle, Philips, Toyota, Auping, Adidas and Rabobank. As a board advisor, he was involved at the early stage of multiple successful disruptive initiatives, often spin-outs across entirely different industries, always focused on the intersection between people and technology. Over the years, Christian and his agency have received multiple nominations and awards for their innovative vision and human-centered approach, including the SHELL LiveWIRE Young Business Award, SAN Award, Gouden Inhaak Award, Broos van Erp Award and many others. At the end of 2014, Christian sold Artificial Industry to a large multinational and shifted his focus more towards delivering presentations and workshops on disruptive innovation and exponential technologies.
