Nancy Poleon (1973) started her career as a marketing and branding professional in 1997. Until 2011, she worked for various music and film companies, where she was responsible for launching new entertainment products and experiences and supporting the careers of a diverse group of music artists. Nancy uses personal branding to help ambitious women, corporate business professionals and entrepreneurs share their stories. As a speaker, she inspires audiences to use their talents to create impact and achieve their goals.
Branded Personalities
In 2011, she founded Branded Personalities, a creative branding agency, followed by BrandedU in 2014, a leadership institute focused on visibility to accelerate the careers of women in business. Through Rock-n-Roll branding – a new, personal and creative approach to branding based on her experience in the entertainment industry – she helps women achieve their career goals by being their authentic selves. BrandedU’s mission is to promote gender equality in the workplace. This has now become her main focus. The BrandedU Visibility Roadmap consists of a mentorship program, a sponsorship program, a personal branding e-course and AmplifyHER, a conference dedicated to amplifying the voices of female role models in business. BrandedU has also published three white papers in collaboration with Great Place to Work to raise awareness of the challenges women still face in the workplace.
Female Empowerment & Personal Branding
In January 2022, she launched the ‘My Name is Peter’ campaign together with WomenInc and The Family to highlight the fact that there are still more CEOs named Peter than female CEOs in the Netherlands. In April 2022, MT/Sprout magazine named her one of the 30 most inclusive business leaders in the Netherlands.
As a dedicated and passionate speaker, she is increasingly invited as an expert in personal branding and female empowerment by media outlets such as Jinek, Het Parool, FD, BNR Radio, Marketing Tribune, Communicatie Online, Adformatie and Frankwatching.
