About Sam Feldt

Early career After making a name for himself with several popular singles—most notably his remake of Robin S’s Show Me Love and his collaboration with fellow Dutchmen Lucas & Steve, Summer On You (ft. Wulf)—Sam Feldt released his debut album in 2017 at the age of 24. Filled with instrumental sections and diverse vocal contributions, the album showcases the breadth of Feldt’s musical skill. A few months after its release, Sunrise to Sunset was followed by a remix album, After the Sunset, which reinforced the original with remixes by Zonderling, De Hofnar, Breathe Carolina, and many others. Albums The Sunset albums cemented his sound and his status as a highly capable producer, but Sam did not rest on his laurels. In 2018, he released several new singles, including Down for Anything (ft. KARRA), Just to Feel Alive (ft. JRM) [Remix], and a collaboration with Hollywood actor Jeremy Renner titled Heaven (Don’t Have a Name). During this period, Sam also took his live performances to an entirely new level. Signature style Characterized by heavy use of vocals and live instruments, Sam Feldt’s music is warm and intimate, lending itself especially well to true live performances. That’s why several musicians from Sam’s studio now join him on stage. With Quirijn on trumpet and Tariq on sax, the live band has already conquered Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Life Is Beautiful, Creamfields, and Mysteryland. Since ADE 2017, with Jordi on guitar, the quartet now delivers an unparalleled live show in the world of electronic music. While grateful for the many opportunities he and the band have had to play on some of the world’s most beautiful stages, Sam developed the ultimate way to experience his uplifting music: the Heartfeldt pool parties. The obvious main ingredient is a swimming pool. The concept brings the summery vibes of Sam’s music to life with a lineup curated by the man himself. After the first edition at ADE 2016—it was freezing outside, but tropical inside the venue—and subsequent successes during Miami Music Week, Heartfeldt pool parties are now being held around the world. Sustainability The same philosophy applies to Sam’s latest venture: his New Year’s resolution to minimize the climate impact of his DJ activities as much as possible. He is open to collaborating with anyone interested in exploring how life—from daily food and drink consumption to flying and performing music—can be made more sustainable. So far, Sam has become an ambassador for Greenseat, offsetting the CO₂ emissions from his flights through green initiatives, and traded in his old polluting car for a brand-new BMW plug-in hybrid. In the future, he plans to keep trying new things and shape his findings into a platform like Fangage, so other artists can easily adopt the format. “The whole idea is to maximize the impact of what I do,” Sam explains. “On my own, I’m just one man doing my best for the environment. But if I can get a number of other big DJs on board, we can raise public awareness of emissions and other environmental issues. Then we can really make a difference!” Heartfeldt Foundation Through the Heartfeldt Foundation, Sam actively promotes a more sustainable and socially responsible dance industry. The foundation encourages a sustainable lifestyle and supports global initiatives focused on environmental awareness. By collaborating with other influencers and companies, Sam aims to reach a wide audience and raise awareness about sustainability. The foundation operates under the “Do-Give-Inspire-Empower” model, through which Sam uses his platform and influence to make a positive and lasting impact on the world. Entrepreneurship In addition to his impressive career as a DJ and producer, Sam is increasingly focusing on entrepreneurship and investing. Following the success of his platform Fangage, which he recently sold, he sees new opportunities to support companies that prioritize sustainability. With his background in building successful businesses and his strong commitment to environmental issues, Sam now wants to use his knowledge and experience to support innovative projects and make a positive impact on the world.
