Victoria Koblenko always leaves audiences with a powerful message, whether on the silver screen or on stage. She moves, inspires and offers a fresh perspective on how we can create impact together. Victoria Koblenko can be booked as a speaker, moderator, interviewer and panellist through Het Sprekershuys.
Background
At the age of thirteen, Victoria moved to the Netherlands with her family, where she attended grammar school at Krimpenerwaard College. Despite initially not speaking Dutch, she completed her diploma in five years. In addition to Dutch, Koblenko speaks Russian, Ukrainian, English, French and German. Combined with her background in Political Science, this enables her to tell compelling stories to a broad audience. She is also deeply committed to climate and society, for example through her work as an ambassador for NCDO and her volunteer work for victims of the war in Ukraine.
From Actress to Columnist
While still in secondary school, she appeared in commercials, but of course she is best known for the popular soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden. After a successful audition at the Harry Klooster casting agency, Victoria quickly landed a role in the series, bringing her national fame. The role in GTST also enabled her to finance her studies. Today, she is known for F*ck de liefde 2 (2022), Ik Wist Het (2022) and Alles is zoals het zou moeten zijn (2020).
Victoria Koblenko’s work goes far beyond acting. She presented the television programme Spuiten en Slikken (2014) and wrote columns for Metro and Trouw for four years. In 2020, Victoria exchanged television work for a theatre production: together with power women Anouk Maas and Tanja Jess, she took to the stage in spring with the comedy Mijn man begrijpt me niet. She also has a passion for health, a topic she enjoys sharing insights on. In April 2023, the book she co wrote with Dr Ludidi on intermittent fasting was published. Victoria’s strength lies in the fact that, in everything she does, she weaves in a powerful message and knows how to inspire audiences time and again.
Socially Committed
Victoria is dedicated to causes close to her heart. Over the past year, she has worked to ease the suffering of victims of the war in Ukraine. She volunteered full time and, together with her husband, launched a GoFundMe campaign for generators in Ukraine. The campaign raised no less than €350,000. She was also a frequent guest on talk shows, where she explained the cultural and historical nuances of the war. She is determined to help and donates the full proceeds of her lectures on “Zelensky: public speaking and professionalism in PR” to relief efforts for Ukraine.
