As co-author of the acclaimed bestseller "Exponential Organizations" (2014), one of the top 10 best-selling business books of all time, he has influenced companies, agencies, startups, governments, communities, and purpose-driven organizations. Singularity

Yuri is the founder of Singularity University Benelux, the first spin-off worldwide outside the organizations US headquarters, established in 2010.

Entrepreneur

Since 2018, Yuri has been a member of the Future Councils of the World Economic Forum (Davos). His main areas of focus include Quantum Technologies, Digital Platforms & Ecosystems, and their implications.

He is also co-founder of Conscious Learning Tribe and The Unconference, a new global online media platform focused on consciousness and ecological and social inclusivity in a post-COVID world, with the aim of helping heal the planet.

Yuri is co-founder of De Buitenboordmotor, a new open-source solution for social cohesion and the future of work, aiming to systematically reskill 1.3 million Dutch people over the next 10 years.

Yuri van Geest is a renowned entrepreneur and speaker specializing in innovation, mobile internet, and the ‘Singularity’. Singularity is a collective term for major emerging technologies such as ICT, biotech (DNA profiling, synthetic biology, stem cells), neuro technology, nanotechnology, robotics, 3D printing, artificial intelligence, new energy, brain-computer interfaces, and space exploration.

The convergence of these technologies is leading to fundamental changes in the world. Examples of concrete applications include mobile DNA testing, the rise of solar energy, the emergence of artificial intelligence and robots taking over many tasks, as well as controlling objects in the physical or virtual world through brain activity. Other examples include visualizing brain activity, such as images from dreams, and 3D printing physical goods and biological organisms.
