Diana Kuip
Experienced presenter and interviewer Diana Kuip has been one of the Netherlands’ few prominent female sports personalities for many years. About Diana Kuip
Although most people know Diana Kuip from television, she actually started out as a writer. Born on the island of Texel, she was one of the founders of the men’s magazine JFK, wrote the book Voetbalmoeders in 2012, and published the collections of columns Kijk voetbal A.U.B. and Ik ben geen Zidane in 2015 and 2017.
Over the past 15 years, she has interviewed hundreds of top athletes, including Dennis Bergkamp, Tom Dumoulin and David Beckham, for media outlets such as AD Sportwereld and Voetbal International. She has also interviewed prominent figures outside the world of sports, including Matthijs van Nieuwkerk and Jeroen Pauw, for in-depth interviews.
Sports Analyst
She is currently one of the regular sports analysts on the programmes HLF8, Tijd voor Max and De Avondetappe. She also appeared in the NOS pre-match coverage during the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Since 2018, she has presented the programme RTL Sportupdate on RTL7, as well as the radio programmes BNR-Sport and BVSC on NPO1. In 2022, she also hosted the UEFA Women’s European Championship draw ceremony and the opening ceremony of the Vuelta a España.
