She chose the four-year specialisation in Sports Medicine, which she completed in 2018. Her medical career in elite sports continued to develop rapidly from there.

In 2019, Real Madrid CF approached her to work as a sports medicine consultant for ‘Los Blancos’. A year later, she was asked to move to the Spanish capital and join the club full-time. This makes Suzanne a highly sought-after speaker among both healthcare organizations and businesses.

Exercise is Medicine®, in other words, exercise on prescription. Just 150 minutes of physical activity per week for adults can prevent and treat chronic diseases such as cancer, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. Surprisingly, little is still being done with this knowledge in the doctor’s consultation room. Exercise as medicine does not yet have a regular place in hospital care. In this session, Suzanne raises awareness through facts and, with her positive energy, motivates the audience to make small adjustments to their daily lives that can lead to significant health benefits.

Vitality in organizations. What exactly does it mean? And how can you successfully improve vitality within your organisation? The word vitality comes from the Latin word ‘vitae’ and literally means life force. It refers to the amount of life energy a person experiences. A vital person has a clear sense of determination, energy, physical strength and resilience. Vital employees are more enthusiastic about life and therefore work with greater enjoyment and energy. As a result, they not only feel better themselves, but also have a positive effect on their colleagues. They are also more willing to go the extra mile for the company. This makes them more productive and contributes to better organisational results. In this session, Suzanne shows how to successfully improve vitality at both an individual and organizational level.
