Career

Isabelle studied psychology at Leiden University while pursuing her career as an athlete. She became one of the strongest women in the world in powerlifting, while also focusing on coaching around mindset and behavioral change. However, her path was far from straightforward. Isabelle has overcome significant personal challenges, including a severe eating disorder and periods of procrastination and self-sabotage. It was precisely these experiences that made her stronger: she developed her own method, which has helped many others. Today, she gives presentations, seminars, workshops, and coaching sessions to individuals and leaders. In her book "Stoppen met Uitstellen" (Stop Procrastinating), she shares strategies from elite sports and psychology that help you become mentally stronger and take real action.
