About Laura de la Mar

Speaker Laura de la Mar is an expert in hospitality and hospitable leadership. Since 2007, she has focused on developing and embedding hospitality within organizations, with a strong emphasis on psychology, behavior and change management. As director of ‘Gastvrijheid in Bedrijf’ since 2013, she works with her team to integrate hospitality into the DNA of various organizations. Their programs include impactful training, do-it-yourself tools and leadership development.

 

Laura’s passion for hospitality drives her to make the world a kinder and happier place. She strongly believes in the principle “What you give, you get back,” which is reflected in her work as an author, keynote speaker and her active presence on social media. Laura shares her knowledge and insights through her website, app and bestsellers such as Gastvrij leiderschap (2023), Het geheim van gastvrijheid (2019) and Mood Maker, het ontwikkelen van gastvrije bedrijven (2012, with John Hokkeling).
