Dr. Marcia Goddard is a neuroscientist with a mission. After obtaining her PhD in neuroscience, she worked as an assistant professor. Several years ago, she left academia to focus on bridging the gap between science and the workplace. Her specific area of expertise is the relationship between the brain and behaviour in the workplace: how do you create an organisational culture in which everyone can perform at their best? In recent years, she has used insights from neuroscience to help organisations grow. Marcia makes complex scientific concepts accessible and easy to understand, using relatable examples and a light-hearted approach, regardless of the topic.
Neuroscience Expertise
Many of Marcia’s insights stem from her research into behaviour and culture within Formula 1 teams and large organisations. By combining her expertise in neuroscience with her experience in HR and leadership roles, she is able to quickly understand the needs of organisations. This enables her to develop and implement holistic programs and interventions that have a direct impact on performance and results.
