About Nicolaas Duin

Nicolaas Duin lives and breathes music. As a freelance keyboard player, he spent 25 years performing on international stages: from the Alpha tent at Lowlands to a village square in Guatemala, from theatres in Buenos Aires to the beach of Curaçao. He worked as a bandleader with artists such as Henk Poort and Danny de Munk, played in the Ot Azoj Klezmerband and accompanied major names such as Willeke Alberti and Loes Luca. Music has always been his driving force, but he discovered its connecting and inspiring power early on.

When the pandemic brought everything to a standstill, it marked a turning point in his career. Nicolaas decided to use the power of music in a new way. Since then, he has used music to show organisations how harmony and collaboration lead to better results.

As a speaker, Nicolaas combines live music with inspiring stories and interactive insights. His sessions are a mix of entertainment and education, in which he not only lets his audience listen, but also actively involves them. Career

Nicolaas has had an impressive musical career. He has worked with countless artists, performed in major theatre productions and also played with his own bands in venues such as Paradiso, Caprera, ’t Paard and Patronaat. In addition to his work as a speaker, he still writes Company Songs, records film music and teaches. Although music remains the common thread, his focus today is fully on speaking. Nicolaas finds that the impact he can make as a speaker is greater than ever before. His unique approach literally gets teams and organisations moving, just as music does.
