Heated faces on the left, fierce looks on the right, and in the middle Patrick Lodiers, waving a gavel and shouting “Order! Order!!” It looks remarkably like the British House of Commons. Patrick Lodiers interviews employees within your organisation and leads the discussion around a range of statements.
The debates can be adapted to your needs: a 30-minute programme with various statements, short debate segments spread throughout the day, or a larger one-hour debate. Many formats are possible in consultation. And when you book Order! Order!!, Patrick can also act as moderator.
With Order! Order!!, we create a programme in which important topics within your organisation are openly and energetically debated. It is an excellent opportunity to explain new plans in an engaging way and discuss the issues that often remain unspoken at the coffee machine.
Patrick introduces each statement with an audio or video clip, a clear presentation or a short interview with a manager, security guard, employee or another colleague. Naturally, a countdown timer is used, and the statements are developed in consultation with your organisation.
Together with the organisation, we determine the best debate format. Will six or fifteen people take part, or will everyone participate? Can participants defend their own opinion, or will they be assigned to a pro or con team? We are happy to advise you during the preparation. And what about the jury? This could be someone from your own organisation, or you could choose a comedian. We are happy to think along with you.
How it works
Before the event, Jan de Graaf, former editor of Het Lagerhuis on NPO Radio 1 and former editor-in-chief of Spijkers met Koppen on NPO Radio 2, visits your organisation to work with you on developing the right statements. Ideally, he also speaks with people from different parts of the organisation, such as someone from the canteen, a security guard or an account manager. By taking a broad approach, we can combine substantive statements with lighter and more playful topics.
