In 2018, Robert van Overdijk moved from the Brabanthallen to CM.com Circuit Zandvoort, where he remains director to this day. He spent nearly ten years at Libéma, serving on the management teams of Sportiom and Beekse Bergen. Eventually, he became ‘Director of Exhibitions and Events South + West,’ overseeing several Libéma event locations such as Expo Haarlemmermeer, Autotron, and the Brabanthallen. During this time, he managed major events including A State of Trance with Armin van Buuren, Q-music’s famous Foute Party, the Ricoh Open grass tennis tournament, and the Indoor Brabant equestrian event.

 

Since April 2018, Robert van Overdijk has been General Director of CM.com Circuit Zandvoort and Director of the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix. During his tenure at Libéma, he and his team worked tirelessly to transform the Brabanthallen into a top event location. Robert also served on the boards of Beekse Bergen and Sportiom during this period.

 

Robert’s ambition to bring Formula 1 back to the legendary Zandvoort circuit has been realized, marking a major milestone in his career.
