About Sander Aarts
Sander Aarts is considered one of the best-trained military personnel in the Dutch Special Forces. In total, he served in the Special Forces for 16 years, holding various leadership positions. Sander was trained as a Royal Netherlands Marine, commando, combat diver, sniper, counter-terrorism specialist, medic, free-fall parachutist, jungle instructor, team leader and dive leader. In recognition of his service within the Special Forces and beyond, Sander was appointed Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau with Swords in 2018.
