Stefan de Vries lived in Paris for 22 years, working as a correspondent for RTL Nieuws, BNR, VRT, Euronews, BBC Radio, Het Financieele Dagblad, De Pers, Eén Vandaag (Nederland 1), Radio 1 (KRO & EO), and Adformatie. For 12 years, he appeared almost weekly as a commentator on French and European politics on the news channel France 24. In the Netherlands, he regularly joins late-night talk shows such as Beau, Jinek, Humberto, and Op1. In France, he is a frequent guest on the debate program 28 Minutes on Arte. In 2020, he moved back to Amsterdam, resuming his role as Europe correspondent for BNR Nieuwsradio and serving as the Netherlands correspondent for the French newspaper Les Echos.
The Blue Book
He has authored several books, including Het Blauwe Boekje, a successful guide on manners, dining, and dress. He is currently working on a book about the future of Europe, set to be published in 2024 by De Arbeiderspers.
Stefan studied Law at the University of Amsterdam and Art History and Archaeology at the Sorbonne in Paris.

Stefan speaks fluent French, English, and Dutch, and can also conduct interviews in German and Spanish. Additionally, he regularly provides media training for professionals who interact with journalists, helping them navigate both opportunities and challenges.
