Stefan Verhoeven

Stefan Verhoeven is an experienced leader with a sharp eye for transformation, customer centricity and culture change. With his infectious energy, sharp insights and genuine stories, he always knows how to move his audience.

Career

After studying Business Administration and Strategic Management at Erasmus University, Stefan began his career at ExxonMobil. There, he held various logistics roles in the Netherlands and abroad, before progressing to Retail Sales Manager Benelux. In 2000, he moved to Philips, where he spent fifteen years in a range of international marketing and sales roles. At the end of 2015, he took over as CEO of Miele Netherlands. Under his leadership, the organisation made a successful shift towards a much more customer centric approach, with additional focus on sustainability and leadership development. Since 2025, Stefan has been responsible for Miele in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France. These countries fall within the new “Western Europe” cluster structure. His ambition is to turn four separate markets into one inclusive, multicultural and successful team.

In addition to his direct business responsibilities, Stefan has also been global programme manager sustainability for all Miele country organisations worldwide for several years. In this role, he coordinates the deployment of the Miele sustainability strategy and local sustainability initiatives in around 50 countries.

He is also a regular guest lecturer at Nyenrode Business University.
