Sessions

A keynote presentation about the transition from today’s healthcare system, with its slow processes and the challenges of broken systems, towards a global, smart and connected healthcare system. A system in which patients have autonomy over their own medical data. A future in which doctors no longer have to experience frustration caused by technical incompetence.

Keynote presentation about the transition from the healthcare system of today, the slowness, the problems of broken systems - towards a - global - smart - connected healthcare system. A system where the patient has self determination over their own medical data. A future where the doctor does not have to experience frustrations caused by technical incompetencies. In this keynote presentation, Susanne takes the audience along to the healthcare system of the future. She does this through storytelling, true stories, patient cases, doctors’ stories etc. In addition, she discusses fundamental wisdom that refers to statements by Einstein, Lincoln - we must use imagination, we must dare to dream, and act from our feelings. What kind of system would we want ourselves, what do we find important.. from this thought she teaches the audience how you can look at a situation differently. If you approach situations in this way, then you can also take different steps. This way, you can come together with various stakeholders at a much earlier stage, to work out projects together based on a shared vision. In this way we can share knowledge, expertise and resources - instead of reinventing the wheel everywhere ourselves and allowing ourselves to be led by egos.

During this workshop, Susanne explores the power of mindset for building a better world. How do you move from thinking in scarcity to thinking in abundance. I take people along, explain the differences and let them map out where they stand each time. This can be done individually, but also in small groups.

Depending on the length, the workshop can include group conversations. Susanne then leads the questions and gives people the opportunity to speak. This is especially interesting with an audience made up of people with different roles from teams or departments. It brings people together, makes them aware of their own way of thinking, but also of each other. By sharing, openness, connection and understanding are created.

In this way, companies can work on their internal company culture. The course of a workshop is also interesting for a company to evaluate, because it reveals something about the team or the audience. Do they feel safe enough to answer the questions? To share? Do people wait and see, or are they eager to share insights? Do people dare to be vulnerable?

When needed, she gives examples, asks questions, follow up questions or shares her own experience. This can be done after a keynote or as a standalone session.

Minimum 30 minutes. 45 to 60 minutes if interaction is desired.

Can be delivered as a standalone session or together with another speaker.

SocialGenomics MOONSHOT Mission | MOONSHOT Thinking

Authentic presentation to inspire the audience.

Role model for people to realise their own dream / to overcome obstacles / to keep going when others say no / to keep believing even when the world thinks it is impossible / to connect with their own dream and the voice in their head. Showing where you can get to based on your own strength, belief and perseverance.

*Note: this can trigger questions and reactions say a lot about the audience. This is also interesting for the company to see where the audience is positioned in the innovation curve and how open they are to 'thinking big'.

The keynote has 3 parts;

  • Introduction to MOONSHOT thinking
  • MOONSHOT as inspiration
  • Lessons learned - with insights people can apply themselves, that appeal to feeling.

Depending on the client, the 3rd part can be given a personalised angle towards the theme of the day and ensure that the main theme comes across clearly, so that the core message of the day is strengthened even more.

This 3rd part can also be about vulnerability:

  • Daring to fail;
  • Failing often;
  • Continuing when no one believes in you;
  • Daring to take your own path;
  • Changing role of leaders and employees
  • Agile work;
  • Innovation;
  • Working in chaos;
  • Etc.

A transition can also be made here to a completely different field. Digitalisation is a theme that is central in every industry. In this 3rd part, the connection can be made from MOONSHOT to another field. Susanne has already done this for example in the rose nursery market (flowers), technology companies, media (Sanoma, NRC) and the cybercrime community.

This keynote also links to the theme of diversity. Through her story she inspires, but at the same time also shows that everyone has their own talent. Susanne believes that people are strongest when they do what they are passionate about. Everyone has their own passion. It does not matter what diploma you have, where you come from, what matters is what you can do that others cannot, what makes you unique as a person. That is much more than just a skill. There are plenty of people who excel as an analyst or business developer or manager.. there are few people who are so passionate about the same subject, with a unique way of thinking etc. That is where hidden strength lies, which can shape your whole life and career. The question to the listener... do you dare to look at yourself in the mirror? Are you aware of your own passion? And do you dare to make choices and allow yourself to be guided by this feeling, also called your intuition.
