Ajouad began his career at FunX and AT5 before becoming a familiar face on Dutch television and radio. He has presented programs such as Puberruil, Willem Wever, Keuringsdienst van Waarde, De Reünie, De Nieuwe Maan, and De Sociëteit. He also hosted the NPO Radio 1 program 5 Dagen and is part of the presenting team of NOS Met het Oog op Morgen. In 2010, he received the Philip Bloemendal Award in recognition of his talent as a promising broadcast journalist.
