About Ben Woldring

Ben Woldring, born in Groningen, is a Dutch internet entrepreneur. At the age of 13, he founded his first company. Today, Ben Woldring is a millionaire and CEO of BENCOM Group, an internet company with 45 employees and nine comparison websites. He created an independent website where he compared telephone rates. During an appearance on the television programme Kassa, Ben gained national recognition and attracted the interest of major telecom providers. He started his entrepreneurial journey from his parental home, with his father as personal assistant and his mother as location director.

Comparison Websites and Awards

Ben now operates from three locations and runs nine different comparison websites, including bellen.com, internetten.nl, digitelevisie.nl, gaslicht.com, Lookingforbooking.nl and his newest site, Poliswijzer.nl. In 2003, Ben was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young, and in 2006 he was named European Entrepreneur of the Year under 25 by the American business magazine Business Week. His work always centres on creating clarity in different markets by offering as much transparency as possible in price and product range. Ben speaks about startups, innovation, entrepreneurship and creativity.
