Bob van Oosterhout founded the sports marketing agency Triple Double in 1997. He is a commercial, creative and enthusiastic sports marketer, with an enormous network in business, sport and sports media. Together with his team, Bob advises brands and companies such as Philips, Opel, Unibet, Essent, Ricoh, Aon, ABN AMRO, Jupiler, PSV, NOC*NSF, EY, AEGON, Johnson & Johnson, Herbalife and many others.
In 2013, Bob was named the most influential person in the Dutch sports sponsorship world, where Triple Double is now recognised as one of the leading agencies. Bob was named Sport Marketer of the Year 2009, Sponsor Personality of the Year 2010 and won the BOV Trophy, Best Entrepreneurial Vision, in 2011. Since 2011, he has also been a member of DE 144. He is the author of the 2013 book De sportsponsors top 100 aller tijden, is part of the BNR Sports Panel and was a regular sidekick of Humberto Tan on the radio programme BNR Sportzaken for more than 1.5 years.
He is also the initiator of SX Sport Marketing and Media, a Sport Marketing Xenter that opened its doors in October 2014 and houses more than 50 different companies, all active within the triangle of sport, marketing and media. It is an innovative and unique concept in Europe.
