If anyone knows all the ins and outs of Formula 1, it’s Jack Plooij. A graduate dentist from Amsterdam, he initially traveled the world giving lectures on implants. His love for travel and talent as a speaker proved the perfect combination when Olav Mol invited him to become a pit reporter, a role that perfectly aligns with his passion for motorsport.

As a Formula 1 reporter, Jack worked alongside Olav Mol on all F1 broadcasts for RTL4 and SBS6 for 15 years. Since 2016, he has been a sports reporter for Ziggo Sport, producing programs around Formula 1. Career highlights include coverage of the 2021 race at Zandvoort Circuit. Jack is affiliated with Ziggo Sport as an F1 expert and with Grand Prix Radio as an F1 commentator. He also frequently appears on talk shows to share his expertise and tours the country with the F1 theater show.

Drawing on 15 years of experience in the F1 pit lane, Jack has authored five books, including Het Beste van Jack, Jack in de Pits, among others.
