About Kasper van Kooten

Kasper van Kooten is a dynamic speaker and moderator who captivates audiences with humor and practical insights. Born on December 17, 1971, in Zuidoostbeemster, he is the son of TV legend Kees van Kooten and Barbara Kits, and the older brother of actress and screenwriter Kim van Kooten. A lifelong musician, he studied at the Kleinkunstacademie from 1992 to 1996 and has been active as a drummer and singer in various bands.

 

His television breakthrough came in 1997 with the film and series All Stars. Around the same time, he played drums for Acda & De Munnik and presented Willem Wever. Over the past 20 years, he has written and performed 11 theater programs.
