Marit van Bohemen

Marit van Bohemen was born in the Zaanstreek region in 1971. She grew up in West Friesland before moving to Utrecht to train as an actress at the School of Arts (HKU). After graduating, she performed with various theatre companies and appeared in television and film productions. Marit also developed a career as a presenter and moderator and has been a familiar face on Dutch television for many years.

The general public knows her primarily from Campinglife and various NPO programs, including Knoop in je Zakdoek, De Taalmeester, and Max Maakt Mogelijk. She has also played notable roles in series such as Judas, Voetbalvrouwen, Flikken Maastricht, and De TV Kantine, with her performances earning her a Golden Calf nomination in 2019. Many viewers will also remember her from the legendary commercial for a nut-based cheese brand, in which she says she still has to “get her mother out of the bath.”

Marit as a Moderator

As a moderator and event host, she has extensive experience. What started with presenting award shows developed into a fully-fledged career as a moderator. “I enjoy and value my work as a moderator and presenter at corporate events and conferences just as much as acting and presenting on television. It gives me the opportunity to experience once again that there are so many interesting companies with passionate people who care about their work just as much as I care about mine. That makes me happy. There are so many wonderful businesses in the Netherlands that we can be proud of!”
