Ynzo van Zanten is an enthusiast who sees new ideas everywhere. He started at Innocent Drinks as the Benelux country manager when it was still a small company. At Innocent Drinks, he learned a lot about meaningful marketing. After his success at Innocent Drinks, Ynzo joined Tony’s Chocolonely as Head of People & Culture and Chief Evangelist. There, he saw many enormous opportunities to make a positive difference with his remarkable ideas that most organizations would never implement, such as giving a thousand euros to every employee expecting children and two thousand to every couple expecting a child, or allowing every employee leaving Tony’s Chocolonely to take as much chocolate as they can carry. Purpose Ynzo gave Tony’s Chocolonely more meaning and passed that meaning on to the customers, such as the unevenly divided chocolate bars that symbolize inequality in the cocoa industry.
