Joep van Deudekom began his career as a gymnastics teacher. At the Academy of Physical Education, he met Peter Heerschop and, together with him and Viggo Waas, founded the comedy group NUHR (Niet Uit Het Raam), with which they toured Dutch theaters for 30 years. Joep is also a lawyer, has written several children's books about football, and presents How Do They Do It? on Discovery Channel.

Joep has published several collections of columns based on his radio columns for Giel Beelen, five children's books about football, and the popular science book How Can I Become More Successful Than My Colleagues? The book also inspired the interactive quiz he presents together with Rob Urgert.

How Can I Become More Successful Than My Colleagues? is a quiz in which Rob en Joep explore the science behind success. What determines whether someone can become successful? They challenge the audience with questions based on scientific research into success, using humorous photos, videos, and experiments. Humor with substance and depth!

The show focuses on connection and making meaningful contact. How do you bring people closer together? And how do you create genuine connections? Hyper-Interactive Program: The Manipulation Game

In addition to the quiz, Rob and Joep offer a hyper-interactive program in which they demonstrate that our choices are often far less pure and deliberate than we tend to believe. Through exercises, hidden meanings, and plenty of humour, they teach participants how to avoid these pitfalls. Sit back (or perhaps don't!) and let yourself be taken on a mental rollercoaster!
